Over the course of the last twenty years or so, I have presented a range of lectures and short talks to a variety of local organisations including both the Nene Valley Astronomical Society and Northants Amateur Astronomers.

I have previously been an evening course tutor for Tresham Institute in Kettering and have presented talks to numerous other local societies including Rotary Clubs, Photographic Societies, Womens Institute along with scouts and guides.

If you would like to book one of my presentations or arrange an observing session for your local group or society then please call me on 07504 989890.  My current list of presentations is as follows:

Unveiling The Solar System

An introduction to our Solar System, featuring the Sun, Planets, Asteroids and Comets.  This presentation is suitable for a general audience without any prior astronomical knowledge and includes lots of images taken from various spacecraft missions and the Hubble Space Telescope.

Unveiling The Universe

A 'glossy' presentation featuring images from the Hubble Space Telescope.  The presentation begins with a brief look at our Solar System before exploring far flung objects in the universe, such as star clusters, star formation areas and other galaxies.  Suitable for a general audience without any prior astronomical knowledge.

Viewing Session

If your group would like to arrange it's own viewing session of the night sky (clear sky permitting of course!) then I can bring a couple of telescopes along for a viewing session and guide you around some of the objects.
